How Did Greg Get Into Brain Injury Litigation?
My name’s Greg Stokes. I’m an attorney in Atlanta, Georgia. We handle serious injury cases. Traumatic brain injuries is something that we’ve been working on for the last 25 years. Back in the ‘90s we had a case involving a railroad worker who was wearing a hard hat and he was hit by about 200 pounds of steel. He did not have any fractured skull, but he suffered an injury to his brain. When we tried that case to a jury we were able to prove that he suffered long lasting effects from the traumatic brain injury and the verdict was $1.1 million and that’s what got us started.
